With over 25 years experience working and teaching in the circus community Simon has a wide range of skills for any age and occasion.

Workshops can also be tailored for teachers who want to learn new skills, fun games , understand and unlock the creative process better.
Ideal for those who work in the educational, care, creative sectors or those using circus as a hobby or professional development.

Experience

Was pedagogical co-ordinator for Belfast Circus School ( 2008-2014.)

Took part in the research and development of the Circus Trans Formation held under the umbrella of Caravan.
( 2009-2014 ). The result is a 5 module teaching course for social circus trainers.

Have delivered in 5 national teacher training courses Ireland 2014, Finland 2016, 2018, 2019 Ireland 2022

Taught in the University of Tampere, an Introduction to Youth and Social Circus Pedagogy ( 5 credits )- Tampere Summer School 2018, 2019, 2021.
A special online course was delivered in 2021 with participants coming from China, Russia, England, Finland, Pakistan and Austria.

Taught numerous short courses around the world tailored to meet the needs of the participants young or old.
